About us

We have over 10 years experience working with young people in this sector. The staff team come from the community served and are highly qualified in their individual specialists. All staff and volunteers have enhanced CRB checks. The team is committed to offering the young people in our care a learning experience that is both positive and supportive of their development.

Contract Manager

Naomi Fearon manages the external contracts received by Take 1. As well as this she is responsible for coordinating the educational provisions and is the first port of call for tutors and learners. Naomi has been teaching since the age of 17 and achieved her Certificate of Education in 2009. She is also a qualified Aerobics instructor and delivers on some programmes.

Operations Manager

Melissa Rose is responsible for the day to day operations at Take 1, managing staff and finance along with managing and co-ordination projects aimed at young people and families.

Director

Courtney Rose is the director of Take 1. He set up the organization in 1999 in response to the lack of music technology training available to young people in the Nottingham area. He became a qualified FE teacher and has written a number of local OCN music units. He

is often available to speak to during the daytime and evening.
